Very good pizza with a really good thin crispy crust.

We also went to a winery. http://www.wollersheim.com
About their new wine Ruby Nouveau.

We did a wine and cheese pairing, then decided to do our own wine and cheese tasting at the tasting bar.

We had a great time with a lot of cheese and a lot of wine.

This was where we found our new favorite cheese. Satori Bella Vitano. It is Fantastic!

Then we went to Blue Spoon Cafe www.bluespooncafe.com We both had nachos: Crispy corn tortillas baked with refried beans topped with sweet Peppadew Peppers, shredded cheddar and cranberry chipotle cheddar cheese, topped with cilantro, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole with their original salsa vinaigrette.
with slow roasted pulled pork.
with chicken.
they have really good Hot Chocolate.
See those round red peppers that look like cherry tomatoes? They are called Peppadew Peppers. We had never had them before or ever heard of them before they were here on our nachos. They are fabulous, amazing and outrageous! They are like a jalapeno and a cherry tomato had a baby! If you have never tried these I highly recommend you find some and try them! Around here they are in the deli at Fresh Market, Meijer and one of the meat markets.

We did go to see Hockey:
UMD vs UW We (UMD) won both games!

The Great Dane Pub and Brewing Co. http://www.greatdanepub.com
French Onion Soup.

Habanero Hellfire Wings.
New London Bridge Fish Fry.
Legend says this was King William IV's favorite recipe found in the original Great Dane Pub's basement. They were very good.

We also went to the Dane County Farmers Market. It was great, so much fresh vegetables, cheese, pastries and breads. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, but you should really go if your ever in the area.

  2. Thanks Oilfield. I hope that means I'm getting better, but I think it just means you were really hungry!
