Pizza and Ice Cream

Piece Brewery & Pizzeria, http://www.piecechicago.com has a different way of making and serving pizza.

They have three styles.
Red: traditional tomato sauce and mozzarella pizza (BBQ sauce also available), Plain: traditional New Haven pizza, a generous amount of red sauce topped with garlic, extra Parmesan and olive oil (This pizza does not have mozzarella.) White: plain crust brushed with olive oil, diced garlic and mozzarella cheese.

It's like a build your own pizza,  you order which sauce you would like then each topping you want.
We ordered a Red with pepperoni.

We ordered a Red with meatball, Giardinaire and garlic.
We also ordered one with the white crust and chicken, mushrooms, spinach, garlic and artichoke hearts.

This pizza is very good, excellent crust and reheats extremely well!

Then we went to get some frozen custard. Never mind that it was 32 degrees with a wind chill of 26 by the time we got to Andy's. http://www.eatandys.com

Mine was supposed to be the Andy's Hot Fudge Sundae with Pecans but they did not put the pecans on it.
It was delicious any way!
A fun food filled day!
